WIP - Classic Remake of Joust (Project Canceled)





Here I'm showing a work in progress for the month of April's one game a month attempt. This month I'm doing a remake of the classic arcade game, Joust. I hope to split the time in half between modeling and implementing the game. This is going to be a tough one and probably more work than I have fun time for. Pfffttt...here we go.

Just some tinkering...

I'm actually hard at play with my render engine, which is maybe about to sprout a physics engine. The Adventures of gBoy. Last iteration, he hardly wore more than a diaper and some foot-ies. Now he's all big and bad with those leg-ins. This one is almost for real. I almost want to put it up as my signature piece. A little more concept-ing around the waist. I'm thinking, cylinders, tight in with some hose-ing. Although, the girdle (of sort) is hard, padding around the waist might be better. We'll see. A hair-do will transform for certain. I'm going the traditional polygon strip hair. Still need to come up with something for the chest and upper back. Something clean, that say f-yeah. 



I'd really like to get this guy in the engine but he's way too heavy.
